Competitions

At Halifax Golf Club we can rightly claim to have one of the most comprehensive Open competition calendars in the whole of the UK

The 2011 season runs from April through to September with the highlight being our Open Festival held from 11th to 25th June.  The week culminates with the 36 hole Men's medal competition for the Ogden Cup and includes the prestigious John Crawshaw Scratch Open played on the blue course.

In 2011 we are running no less than 9 competitions during the Open Festival and a record total for the season overall giving plenty of choice for golfers of whatever gender, age or ability. Click here for details.

In addition, our Club Professional runs a monthly fourball competition on the last Tuesday of each month from April through to September.  Click here for details.

Food is always available on Open Competition days and our steward will be happy to arrange any special catering requirements.  Just call on 01422 248108 in advance.
